omg. i've been a shopping fanatic lately. spent close to $1750 in the past 3 weeks. its like, since when do you see me getting stuff which aint a need but more like a want? its not a often sight you know. alright. some of you may be thinking its cos i had started working. but come on, i had worked for 1.5 years already. and looking thru my monthly expenses, it had only started raising drastically as of Aug 2008. and its straight 200% increase. faint man!
the items i bought are...
1 adidas jacket, pants, wallet and water bottle
9 t-shirts (bros product, stay real, stage, giordano, net, stitch, syxere)
1 pair of jeans
1 pair of working pants
1 skirt
1 media player
2 month's supply of contact lens + solution
1 pair of ear stud with solution and ear piercing
2 watches (stick-on faces which can be wore with a strap or as a necklace/bracelet)
1 cap
1 super big bag (can be used for traveling overseas)
1 puma bag
1 shiny material bag
1 set of fancl facial products (cleansing foam, toner, moisturer)
1 loreal coloured-hair care shampoo
1 pair of shoes
1 beauty credit's facial spray and coenyzmeQ10 nail remover
1 samsung soul handphone with desktop charger and extra battery
anyway, after spoiling myself rotten, i've finally decided to settle down. had opened an OCBC monthly savings account and every month i debited 45% of my pay to this account. this doesnt have a debit/credit card and its like a fixed deposit account. wadever you put in cant be taken out until after 2 years. of cos if theres a need to redraw it, you can la. but nah. there is for emergency use only.
and i realise i have stopped school for too long a period already. should be starting from this year 2008 but i had missed the intake as i only began searching for the courses at feb. theres pros to this though. it motivated me to start looking for school earlier this time around. had been taking a look at many institutes besides the usual SG-university. as i have been more interested in my field of work too, i also have a clearer insight on what i really do want. so rather than finding infosys management which i originally wanted, now i am searching on degrees towards networking end. i already found and narrowed myself down to 2 choices,
MDIS's BIT (Computer Security & Network Administration and Design) or
Informatics' BIT (networking). i will prefer going to informatics as traveling there after work is easier than MDIS. but the MDIS that course is a double major and inclusive of MCSE 2003 studies + exam. if i was to take it outside, it will be more expensive. but of cos, my company will sponsor me. hmmm dunno lei. shall be applying next week for both and see which accepts me. if lucky both accept, i'll definitely seek opinons from my fellow colleagues. keeping my fingers crossed! wish me success! then i'll be starting sch in Mar 2009 (for informatics) or Apr 2009 (for MDIS)!
