thunders & lightnings are killers to PCs. do you know for the past 4.5 years, my power supply had fused once? then my motherboard suffers the most. had been fried twice. most recent is the Sunday that just past. in north area, the rain is super heavy. i was watching my taiwan idols dramas as usual. then left my computer for a minute to go to the washroom. when i came back, i saw a blank screen and realise no light on my USB mouse and external HDD. that happens around 5+pm.
faint. my PC is my life lei after work. its been a long time since i watch shows on TVs nor. now so many not nice de dramas. dun have my idols dramas i wanna cry liao xia. at first thought its power supply that died. replaced it last night. didnt work. then winnie helps me to troubleshoot further a bit. the fan turns. omg. it means its the motherboard that was fried. have to replace as its no longer under warranty. gotta spend $. then reformat my c drive T_T there goes the dramas & shows im downloading. how am i supposed to survive this weekend?
anyway, i realise this is my first blog entry for 2008. yet im complaining. whahaha. nvm its okay. thats how i am xD like mentioned, changed of job scope effective 2008. so currently work is quite slacking. preparing report for weekly meeting. re-structuring of some processes. arranging onsite services between external SI and customers. gonna be picking up BlackBerry troubleshooting skills. sounds a lot but it aint. cant wait to really start everything. im starting to feel bored at work already as i dun like nothing to do.
