this is gonna be a long entry as i have quite a few things to update haha.
first will definitely be the status of my PC which is still down. actually wanna go repair it the Sunday which just past. but then i recall that my laptop is due for collection as of 1st Feb 2008. there isnt a need for a PC after i got my lappie so can save the $ to use and pay for a wireless router instead. cos currently im using a pathetic Motorola USB Modem which limits my speed. anyway i gotta topup $300 for the laptop too so yea. can save jiu save bah =D
had went cny shopping with my beloved cousin last Sat. gone Orchard again. but this time around, theres rewards xia. its a mystery why each time when she is with me, i'll be able to find something i like xia. bought a smart casual top from Dorothy Perkins and another top at Far East. of course got purchase inner beauty too but shopped for quite a while before finding it at John Little. as members will have 20% disc, i signed up as one. LOL! heels is a must definitely. its bronze and something different from the type i usually wear. all in all, its a definitely fruitful Sat!
for those who went bugis will probably know that theres the sheng siao de prediction of the 2008 at close to OG there. had dropped by to take a look. sad sad. for those born in the year of Rabbit (which is me), everything, be it wealth, love or health, all is very average arbo is not good de T_T though i believe in myself more, but seeing such predictions will still affect me a tiny little bit. afterall, start of 2008, my PC crashes on me. then my SD card reader also died. argh!
anyway, lets move on to work. just finished a meeting whereby held by me. proposed changes to one of the processes. thanks to sherry and kokpin whom i work together with. the management were all thumbs up when i ended the presentation. hao kan xin wor! mei you gu fu their expectations of me. phew! what a day! now can go on to preparing the departmental meeting which is a whole lot easier as we cover most stuff already. heex! thank Lord!

i survived the weekend quite surprisingly. i had converted 10 episodes only. then checked the TV guide for all shows on these two days. spread it equally between Sat and Sun. i didnt go out either. so i managed to got hold of the remote control and my Dad cant make me change channel. whahaha! clever and evil me hor? xD
winnie is supposed to acc me yesterday to go replace the motherboard and backup my data. but he needs to go back to work last minute so didnt. borrow Kelvin's laptop convert another 14 ep. omg. im watching at quite a fast rate currently. 2 ep during the journey to work, then another 4 to 6 ep after work. in this manner, i will be clearing off my dramas very fast lei T_T two weeks no computer is equivalent to causing me to have a lot of dramas / variety shows to dl. scare later my hdd no space *faint* hope he can come down find me by this friday. or else i think i will end up have to watch dramas online when my comp is repaired LOL.

thunders & lightnings are killers to PCs. do you know for the past 4.5 years, my power supply had fused once? then my motherboard suffers the most. had been fried twice. most recent is the Sunday that just past. in north area, the rain is super heavy. i was watching my taiwan idols dramas as usual. then left my computer for a minute to go to the washroom. when i came back, i saw a blank screen and realise no light on my USB mouse and external HDD. that happens around 5+pm.
faint. my PC is my life lei after work. its been a long time since i watch shows on TVs nor. now so many not nice de dramas. dun have my idols dramas i wanna cry liao xia. at first thought its power supply that died. replaced it last night. didnt work. then winnie helps me to troubleshoot further a bit. the fan turns. omg. it means its the motherboard that was fried. have to replace as its no longer under warranty. gotta spend $. then reformat my c drive T_T there goes the dramas & shows im downloading. how am i supposed to survive this weekend?
anyway, i realise this is my first blog entry for 2008. yet im complaining. whahaha. nvm its okay. thats how i am xD like mentioned, changed of job scope effective 2008. so currently work is quite slacking. preparing report for weekly meeting. re-structuring of some processes. arranging onsite services between external SI and customers. gonna be picking up BlackBerry troubleshooting skills. sounds a lot but it aint. cant wait to really start everything. im starting to feel bored at work already as i dun like nothing to do.
